Wi-flix partners Ayoba to promote online movie streaming services

Wi-flix, an online streaming and live television platform that provides indigenous African and foreign content has announced a partnership agreement with Ayoba, to offer streaming experience to customers.

The partnership forms part of Wi-flix’s content strategy to allow global access to diverse and premium African entertainment on-demand.

The partnership would enable Ayoba customers to access Wi-flix’s channel on Ayoba to stream premium movies and clips anywhere, anytime on the application.

Co-Founder of Wi-flix and Chief Operations Officer, Bright Yeboah, commenting on the partnership in Accra yesterday, said over the years, the way people view and consume content had changed immensely with customers seeking easy ways to subscribe to and enjoy multiple streaming platforms.

He noted that the partnership with Ayoba would make it easy to reach over 10 million customers who want to watch their favourite movie clips and epic trailers on Wi-flix channel on the super application.

The Ghana Country Director of Wi-flix, Anthony Shaw, said the partnership gave millions of new and existing Ayoba subscribers access to a broad selection of authentic entertainment on the Wi-flix platform.

“We are thrilled to exclusively partner with Ayoba to bring our streaming platform to even more customers as we look to continue to grow our subscriber-base in innovative and compelling ways,” he said.

BurakAkinci, Chief Executive Officer of Ayoba, noted that the Wi-flix channel was already in the top 10 channels for March this year.

He stated that it was clear that users were enjoying their content on the channel and expressed hope for a long and fruitful partnership.

Since launching in Ghana, the online streaming platform has offered unlimited access to subscribers in Africa and the diaspora over 30,000 hours of entertainment on demand plus 10 live television channels available at price points across the globe.
