The General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Reverend Owusu Bempah and six other members of his church were slapped with 11 new charges after they appeared before an Accra Circuit Court yesterday.
The charges are conspiracy to commit threat of death, conspiracy to commit offensive conduct, threat of death, offensive conduct to the breach of peace, causing unlawful damage and assault of public officers among others.
They have all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The accused, who were re-arrested on Wednesday morning to face the fresh charges have been granted a bail of GH₵100, 000. 00 each and are to reappear before the court on December 14.
The court presided over by Mrs Evelyn Asamoah further ordered prosecution to file disclosures latest by December 3.
At an earlier hearing in a different court presided over by Madam Afia Owusua Appiah, Reverend Owusu-Bempah was discharged, however, matters took another turn after the pastor and his other accomplices were re-arrested and put before another court the same day.
The police arrested Owusu Bempah and four others on September 12 this year after they forcefully entered the home of one Patricia Oduro, popularly known as Nana Agradaa and threatening to kill her.
The police charged and put them before an Accra Circuit Court where they were remanded into police custody.
They were later granted bail in the sum of GH₵ 200,000.00 each, with two sureties.
