Ghanaians have been called upon to properly dispose of expired important documents through shredding, to avoid them getting into the hands unauthorised persons who would later use them to commit fraud and other criminal activities.
“These are expired bank credit cards, payment, insurance cards and boarding passes as well as other vital documents which were no longer in use,” says the Executive Chairman of Krif Ghana, Reverend Kennedy Okosun, when he launched a new range of Hewlett Packard (HP) shredders and laminators on the Ghanaian market in Accra yesterday.
Even though expired, he said these card and documents still contained your personal detail and bio-data which were still valid and when gotten into the hands of criminals could be used as identity theft to commit crime.
He said Krif Ghana, as one of Ghana’s leading distributors of high quality office equipment and stationeries, had collaborated with world class equipment manufacturers, GO EURO GmbH of Germany to import these exclusive hp products, shredders and laminatorsfor the Ghanaian market and that of the West African sub region.
“For 35 years of business, Krif Ghana Limited has upheld the tradition in scouting for latest and quality products from the USA, Europe and Asia with Krif being the sole agent of the HP shredders and laminator products.
“HP offers a wide range of powerful, practical reliable shredders and laminators that meet the needs for productivity and security in large enterprises and home offices with these robust products for professional and business documents,” he said.
Explaining its functions, he said, the shredder also had a return function automatic reverse if too much paper was fed in at the same time as it could shred paper, credit cards, paper clips and staples.
“It is the launch of our brand new HP product Line. This launch is historic because krif Ghana is the only organization in Ghana and the African continent to import and trade the new Hp shredders and laminators,” he added.
“This is an exclusive collaboration between Krif Ghana Ltd and GO EURO GmbH, to bring to our cherished clientele top of the range machinery and office equipment to aid them with their work.”
