President bids farewell to 2 envoys

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has praised two foreign envoys who have completed their tour of duty in the country for their contribution to enhancing the relations between Ghana and their respective countries

The outgoing Algerian Ambassador to Ghana, Delileche Youssef and the outgoing Ambassador to Japan, Tsutomu Himeno, visited the President separately at the Jubilee House in Accra yesterday to bid him farewell

At the meetings, President Akufo-Addo commended the two for enhancing the long standing relationship between Ghana and their respective countries.

He said the envoys made a big impact during their tour of duty in Ghana and called for a stronger collaboration to further deepen the relations

The President said Ghana valued it’s friendship with Algeria and Japan and added that important events occurred during their tour of duty.

President Akufo-Addo thanked them for their service, adding that Ghana would be looking forward to having a more fruitful relation with their countries.

He entreated them to be worthy ambassadors for Ghana in their next engagements.

The two envoys thanked the President for making their tour a success and added that they would be leaving Ghana with very fond memories.

They said they had the full support of government officials during their stay in the country and thanked Ghanaians for the warm reception

They enumerated some of the events that took place during their stay and stressed the need for a deeper collaboration between their respective countries and Ghana.
