The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ohenebeng Creative Enterprise, Mr Kwaku Ohene has presented five Ghana spanners to support the fight and spread of the coronavirus to the Koforidua Office of Ghana News Agency.
The spanners which were designed by him were to help users to open doors and have access to facilities without directly touching handles of office doors, car gates, pipes and other things without direct contact with the hand.
Presenting the spanners, the CEO said being part of the forerunners in the dissemination of information to the public, he thought it was essential to give some of the spanners, which was his own invention to the workers of the Agency to use on their daily routine when gathering news to help protect them from the coronavirus.
He said due to inadequate resources, he was not able to produce more for the market and hoped that he could be assisted, to produce in large quantities.
Mr Ohene said if more of the spanners were produced and put on the market, the device could help to minimize the spread of the virus.
The Eastern Regional Manager of GNA, Mr Edmund Quaynor thanked him for the gesture extended to the office during this pandemic season and gave the assurance that the workers of the Agency would put his technology into use to help advertise the product.
The CEO has also manufactured the Ohenebeng Radar, a security device that raises alarm when an intruder enters a building for use by homes, factories, institutions, market places, hotels, banks, and churches.
The device works by blowing the siren to inform the people around of the presence of an intruder.
He has also developed a device that directs blind people whenever they miss their direction.
