Must Read

AUTOPSY REPORT of Princess Afia Ahenkan, the woman who was murdered by her houseboy, Allister John, at Apaaso in Kumasi, has revealed that she died from severe abdominal and head injuries.

The report also said the deceased suffered excessive bleeding, which led to her death.

The report, which was read at the Asokore Mampong District Court in Kumasi on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, classified Afia Ahenkan’s death as unnatural.

The prosecution, after reading the autopsy report, also prayed the court to remand suspects Allister John and James Anokye into police custody.

According to the prosecution, they were hunting for three more suspects in the murder case, and therefore needed enough time to continue with their investigations.

The court, presided over by Samuel Buabin Asamoah, accepted the prosecution team’s request and remanded the two suspects into police custody.

Allister John and James Anokye are expected to reappear before the Asokore Mampong District Court on October 17, 2023 for the continuation of the case.

Meanwhile, there was heavy security at the Asokore Mampong District Court when the case was called. Police were seen stationed at vantage points to provide security.

As a reminder, Allister John, allegedly, murdered Afia Ahenkan and bolted with her car and other items.

He then sought refuge in Accra but was eventually arrested.

On Monday, Allister John was also hauled before the Asokwa District Court in a different theft case, where he pleaded guilty and was convicted.
