Popular Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has shared her testimony of surviving two life-threatening accidents this year, which she described as nothing short of miraculous.
Speaking during her ministration at The Worshipper’s Heart 24 event with Adom Kiki at the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) in Kumasi on Sunday, November 17, 2024, she attributed her survival to God’s divine intervention.
Recounting the first accident, which occurred in June 2024 on an Accra road, the screen goddess revealed that her car somersaulted, leaving her terrified and stuck in her seatbelt. She feared the worst, imagining the car could catch fire. Fortunately, a nearby truck driver and his mate came to her rescue.
“It was just me and my God. I thought it was the end because nobody saw me. I was stucked in the seat belt in a bush. ” she said.
Her voice trembled as she described the overwhelming fear and helplessness, coupled with the relief and gratitude she felt when help finally arrived.
This isn’t the first time the actress has survived a major accident. On January 30, 2013, Nana Ama McBrown was involved in a near-fatal crash with her then-boyfriend, Maxwell Mensah, on the George Walker Bush Highway (N1), near Lapaz and Mallam in Accra. The accident left her with severe injuries, requiring screws and a metal implant in her right arm.
The incident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in veered off the road and crashed, leaving the car extensively damaged. Her injuries were so severe that she underwent multiple surgeries to stabilize her arm.
Despite the physical and emotional toll, she has often spoken about her recovery journey and how the experience strengthened her faith in God.
