The Evangelical Presbyterian Students Union (EPSU) and Authentic Worship Experience (AWE) have donated 15-inch rechargeable public address system with cordless microphones each to the Surgical Ward of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and the Princess Marie Louise- Children’s Hospital in Accra.
The public address system is intended to aid nurses on duty to call out names of patients with ease.
Mr Frank Bansah, leader of the five-member delegation who presented the items, said the donation formed part of their corporate social and spiritual mandate and responsibility to the community.
A matron, Mary Sowah, Dr Margaret Neizer, Deputy Director of Nursing Services (DDNS), and Margaret Amoako receiving the items on behalf of the two hospitals expressed their gratitude to the group for the gesture and asked other well meaning individuals and organisations to also support them.
