GNA – Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum as their new Head Coach ahead of the 2021/22 football season.
Dr. Nartey joins Kotoko on a two-year deal after the club parted ways with Mariano Barreto following an unimpressive outing in the 2020/21 football season.
The 48-year-old would lead Kotoko as they quest to lift the 25th league title with the 2021/22 set to begin on October 29, 2021.
Dr. Nartey who is Sports Psychologist and Educationist has had spells with some Ghana Premier League sides which includes West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), Elmina Sharks, Karela United and Ebusua Dwarfs.
Dr. Nartey led WAFA in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League as they placed third with 56 points.
