The annual black Friday shopping experience championed by Jumia Ghana was launched in Accra on Thursday.
The Black Friday event which offers discounts on products to consumers is slated for November 5 to November 26.
The event has been organised to highlight top deals and discounts of products, as well as benefits to both sellers and consumers.
Speaking at the launch, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) KolawoleOsinawo said with support from its partners the month-long event aimed at ensuring that consumers get the best while shopping.
The discounts, according to him, range from 40 per cent off appliances, 80 per cent off groceries, 50 per cent off fashion and beauty and 40 per cent off phones and accessories.
“The other offers are the 10am daily flash sales, 25 per cent daily super saver, free deliveries every Friday from 2pm , 50 per cent off every Friday at 9am and to crown it would be the last explosion on November 26” he said
MrOsinawo however said the deals would continue to be refreshed as and when necessary.
The CCO encouraged customers to take advantage of the offers, during this season profits are generated which he believed would make the brand become an industry leader.”
Samuel Esiri, the Country Manager encouraged consumers to address all their complaints to the call centers as they were always there to assist.
He, however, said the company was scaling up their pick up stations to ensure that product were in the reach of consumers.
“With black Friday sales, one can even buy five kilogramme rice for as low as GH 1 because some products have been discounted 99 per cent,” he said.
