President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has congratulated Donald Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States, extending Ghana’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
In a message shared Wednesday, President Akufo-Addo expressed optimism that Ghana-U.S. relations would deepen under Trump’s renewed leadership, focusing on areas of mutual interest.
I am hopeful that, under your leadership, this bond will grow even stronger, paving the way for collaboration in addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, as we did during your first mandate,” Akufo-Addo wrote on his official Facebook page.
“Together, we can continue to promote peace, prosperity, and the dignity of all peoples.”
