The death toll from the Russian missile strike on Ukraine on Tuesday rose to 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday.
About 130 more were injured in the attack, Zelensky said in an address published on the presidential website.
According to Zelensky, the strike damaged more than 200 facilities across Ukraine, including 139 houses.

According to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Russia fired 44 missiles at Ukraine, most of which were against Ukraine’s capital and its outskirts, the eastern city of Kharkiv and the city Pavlograd in the central Dnipropetrovsk region.
Ukraine’s air defense intercepted 22 missiles.
The aerial strikes marked the fourth massive Russian attack on Ukraine in less than a month.
