FIFA U-20 WWC: Coach Ben Forkuo names 23 players ahead of Zambia clash

GNA – Ben Forkuo, the Head Coach of the Black Princesses has named his final 23 players to face Zambia’s Young Copper Queens in the first leg of the 2022 Federation of International Football Association U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The 23 players including 21 local-based players, and two foreign-based left the shores of Ghana on Tuesday, November 30 for the match.

The list also includes five Hasaacas ladies players who excelled at the CAF Women’s Champions league where Evelyn Badu emerged as the top goal scorer and woman of the tournament.

Mukarama Abdulai of Deportivo Alaves and Elizabeth Opong are the two foreign-based players called by Coach Forkua.

The two sides would face each other in two legs, with the first on Saturday, December 4 and the return encounter in a fortnight.

Coach Forkua would be looking forward to secure a win against the Zambian side in order to keep his hopes high in the 2022 U-20 World Cup qualifiers.
