The West Africa Secondary School Old Students Association (WASSOSA) yesterday donated mathematical sets worth about GH¢5000 to final year students of the school.
The presentation which is an annual event by the Association is aimed at motivating the students who would be writing their final exams to put in their best effort.
Presenting the items, the President for WASSOSA, Dr David Ako Odo, said the old students expected them to be diligent and work extremely hard to come out with flying colours.
He said it always felt good to see the school doing well on the national ranking and so it was important for the final year students to ensure they made an improvement in the position of the school.
He encouraged them to have personal time tables to enable them make enough time to learn both at home and at school and wished them well.
The Headmistress for the school, Dr Mrs Shine Ofori, expressed appreciation to the Old Students Association saying the mathematical sets would go a long way to ginger the students to write well.
She promised on behalf of the students that they would use their time profitably, study and write the exams well.
She commended WASSOSA for the constant support for the school in various ways with the recent being donation of hundreds of mono desks to the school.
Dr Ofori advised the students to emulate the examples of the current old students and do same when they also leave the school.
