A driver of a Ford concrete pump truck, Tahiru Faisal, and two other accomplices, identified as supervisors, have been convicted for spilling concrete on the Abavana Junction road along the Pig Farm-Circle stretch, in Accra.
Police source said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 and convicted to fines totaling GHC3,600.
The first accused, Tahiru Faisal, the driver of the Truck with registration number GN 8042-20, was fined GHc2,400, and the second accused, Emmanuel Sogah-Burns, an engineer and a supervisor at Sobtech Engineering Consultancy, was fined GHC600.00. Stephen Donkor, third accused, was also fined GHC600.
The police advised motorists to abide by road safety regulations always as anybody found culpable would be prosecuted. -GNA
